It still is a big disappointment that iPhone 4S is announced instead of iPhone 5, but let's see what Apple has to offer with this brand new phone compared to their older model, iPhone 4.
First of all, the CPU is upgraded in iPhone 4S. iPhone 4S has a Dual Core A5 chip against iPhone 4's A4 chip. That means the iPhone 4S will work faster in general, and also for those who are interested in gaming on their iPhones, it won't be wrong to say that the 4S can run the newest games which require lots of resources such as Infinity Blade. The iPhone 4S has a 8MP camera compared to iPhone 4's 5 MP camera, and also has an upgraded lens technology which is made of 5 lenses instead of 4, told to make the photo quality slightly better compared to iPhone 4. Talking about the camera, the iPhone 4S can record videos @ 1080p, while the iPhone 4 was recording videos @ 720p. This one looks like a quite useful upgrade which comes with the 4S. 1080p videos are quite popular nowadays and 720p is slowly dying. The battery life is also extended from 7 hours to 8 hours, which is not a really big of a deal, but it's always nice to have extra battery life. The iPhone 4S also has Bluetooth 4.0 compared to iPhone 4's Bluetooth 2.1, but that's not really a really big feature either. All in all, it won't be really worth changing your iPhone 4 for an iphone 4S, but if you have an old phone, and you are looking for a new one, iPhone 4S can be a really good choice.
